Horizon Zero Dawn sets to be one of the biggest releases in February. It’s beautiful lush grasslands wowed us back in its debut in E3 2015, and now we have a trailer revealing other locales our heroine Aloy will travel to in the world of tribal society and giant robotic creatures roam the earth.
Check out the story trailer down. Though we do recommend not watching it for those who have made up their mind to get this and want to have a spoiler-free experience. There’s new characters and plot points being shown here.
There’s a lot to be proven with Horizon. It’s a new IP made by Guerrilla Games, a studio that was mostly known for the decent but [...]
Scalebound looks promising. Last shown in E3 last year, we saw dragons and some cool action combat, a signature of PlatinumGames. We even saw glimpses of online co-op. Last we heard about it was that it has been delayed into 2017.
And suddenly we got news it was cancelled.
Windows Central reported this statement given by Microsoft on this news:
After careful deliberation, Microsoft Studios has come to the decision to end production for “Scalebound.” We’re working hard to deliver an amazing lineup of games to our fans this year, including “Halo Wars 2,” “Crackdown 3,” “State of Decay 2,” “Sea of [...]
Nier is a cult hit action RPG released back in 2005. It had a long of good thing going with its combination of 3D and 2D platforming, interesting setting of a post-apocalyptic world, and character action combat mixed with some bullet-hell shooting. The only problem? It’s not a refined experience, plenty of clunkiness and unevenness of the gameplay rests the game as a cult hit. But Square Enix is taking another chance with the series by taking a few of the key personnel from Nier such as game designer Yoko Taro and pair them up with a studio known for making good action games: PlatinumGames.
Like how Nier is an spin-off from one of the many endings from the series [...]
Kingdom Hearts III, the long-awaited Action JRPG with crossovers of Final Fantasy and Disney characters, should come out anytime soon but don’t hold your breath. Instead, let the waiting time be used to catch up with the series’ convoluted story, spanned across not just the two main games, but the many spin-offs available on various platforms. Just in time for its 15-year anniversary.
But what if there’s an easier way to experience the previous two games and get all the story cutscenes from the many spin-offs? Square Enix just announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 +2.5 Remix will be available on the [...]
Deus Ex, the original 2001 game was a classic. It offered numerous choices to the player, not just in terms of story branches, but also by having emergent gameplay. Eidos Montreal was tasked to make another entry to the franchise. The result? 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution, one of the best games to receive a new entry being done by an entirely new team.
Now, Eidos Montreal is back for a sequel.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided builds upon the successes of Human Revolution, and learnt well from past mistakes. The result is a denser, polished experience that is overall great, but still [...]
