The Yakuza series is on a roll as of late with all of their games finally got localised for English audiences with Yakuza 0 out early this year and the remake of the first Yakuza, Yakuza Kiwami, ready for release this August. That means there’s only one more game that has yet to reach the West (and English speaking countries in Asia)- Yakuza 6.
Good news, that’s being localised too, coming early next year.
Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life is the first game to utilise the brand new Dragon Engine, built to make use of the PS4 hardware in full. The story takes our good natured Yakuza man Kazuma Kiryu back into the seedy streets of Kamurocho and the new city of [...]
Sony’s E3 press conference was definitely a weird one. While not on Devolver levels of weird, Sony’s was much shorter than it’s counterpart, Microsoft, as well as having barely any talking at all. And while everyone checked their prediction scorecards for anticipated games, I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say no one saw a remake of PS2 classic Shadow of the Colossus coming.
For those new to videogaming Shadow of the Colossus was a unique game for the PS2 that had you hunting down Colossi, huge monsters, to save a princess. All you had to kill these colossi were a bow and arrow, your horse, and a magic sword that pointed you to the [...]
Formerly known as just the PS4 Spider-Man game by Insomniac, Marvel’s Spider-Man has now shown some proper gameplay. A quick glance at the first few minutes and you might see something similar to the Batman Arkham games, but with a more agile and snarky hero.
It looks great in motion, and their take of Spidey fits the bill. Most of the gameplay took place at one location- a construction site, but we did get a glimpse of the open-world New York. And yes, Spidey can swing from building to building like any good Spider-Man game should. But they also bring back quick time event prompts.
Take a look at the gameplay below:
Looks promising so far. Marvel’s [...]
Bend Studio’s new game Days Gone debuted at last year’s Sony E3 press conference. We saw some impressive zombie horde in action but not much context to what the game is about.
This new trailer, also shown at Sony’s main stage, shows more elements of the open world action game. Dynamic weather and time, setting up traps (and getting into one), encounters with human enemies and the zombie horde, vehicles, and also stealth.
There’s a lot to take in, and now it looks more than just another game with zombies in them. Because it also has zombie bears.

No confirmation on a release date, but it will for sure be a PS4 [...]
Sony has to bring out the big guns for their E3 showcase and their biggest one currently is the new God Of War. Seasoned god slayer Kratos and his young boy Atreus continues to wow us in this new trailer with some emotional moments on a boat and some lessons on being a warrior.
All while scenes of combat encounters being played. Kratos may be slower this time, but his blows are strong. Expect a different feel for combat compared to the faster paced hack and slash nature of previous games.

Expect to see the father and son journey into the Norse wilds in playable form as God Of War is scheduled to release in Early 2018 exclusively on the PS4.
Microsoft’s E3 Press Event showed off some gameplay for the new Middle Earth: Shadow of War today.
The game seeks to expand on Shadow Of Mordor’s critically-acclaimed Nemesis system with the new ability to dominate your nemesis’. Beating them within an inch of their life will allow them to be… persuaded… to join your group, allowing you to recruit them for assaults on enemy fortresses. In the video, you’re introduced to Bruz, quite possibly the chattiest orc to be beaten into submission by you.
We also get a glimpse into the fortress assaults in the game- they’ll require you to build a party of dominated foes, presumably to [...]
