The Evil Within 2 is be another solid survival horror game. This time, protagonist Sebastian Castellanos is offered a chance to save her daughter by entering the nightmare world again.
The new trailer shows a glimpse of what is in Sebastian’s mind. There’s bits of gunplay seen though Bethesda mentioned in their official post that stealth play is possible.

The Evil Within 2 is set to release on October 13 (which lands on a Friday) for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
Doom 2016 was one surprising release. All the lead up to the game, the rumoured cancellation of Doom 4, the first gameplay of the reboot looking not as faithful as Doom fans expected, and a tepid reception to the multiplayer beta. Despite all that, the single-player campaign was rather good, really good in fact. But the multiplayer still needed some work.
With the new update, hilariously designated as update 6.66, the multiplayer suite is getting a major overhaul. The progression is switched from unlocking items via random loot boxes to the tried and true method of unlocking items through reaching new levels and doing specific challenges. This will reset the levels of all [...]
Did you know that Arkane Studios has been around for almost 18 years? It took them a long while until they landed a mainstream success with Dishonored in 2012.
After that success, Arkane is busy ever since, with the release of Dishonored 2 in November of last year and then the new game Prey (that isn’t related to the previous Prey game or its sequel) last month in May. The team has since been split into two studios, with Harvey Smith leading the Austin team, in charge of Dishonored 2 and a new team in Lyon led by Raphael Colantonio, which handled Prey.
Today however, was the announcement that Colantonio will part ways with the company, on a positive note. [...]

But if you don’t want to just watch the cinematic trailer and wonder how actual gameplay looks like, wonder no more. We have another trailer just showing the gameplay. It’s less about wandering through tight corridors and more open spaces, but the creatures you will face looks grotesque as ever. Some might say it has more of a Silent Hill vibe than the early Resident Evil vibes of the first.

It’s all fun and games in Bethesdaland. The only presentation to be delivered late at night (or in the afternoon for our case in Southeast Asia), Bethesda just made it very concise with less shenanigans from multiple presenters. It’s almost as fully scripted as a Nintendo Direct.
While there are not a lot of games or surprises, the good news is that what we see here are mostly arriving before the end of the year. No need for long waits, they’re coming out soon.
Here’s a quick recap on what was shown today at Bethesda’s press conference:Leaks Confirmed
