Civilization VI is set to bring a lot of new, smaller changes to the formula that got a major change in V. But how will the game looks like in full with the new, stylised artstyle? Civ VI’s lead designer Ed Beach is showing off the game to various parties at E3, and this particular video, courtesy of Gamespot, shows off a lot of the gameplay while giving commentary of all the new features being shown.
What we know so far of Civ VI after the initial launch trailer? We have mentioned about how doing certain actions boost your research of a related technology, shown here as the Eureka moment. Apparently, the social [...]
Sony’s E3 press conference kicked off with a boom.. of orchestral tunes. Which leads straight to some gameplay footage of the new God Of War, simply titled as God Of War.
While the new game still stars what it seems to be on older, wiser Kratos, the whole gameplay is a far cry from the over-the-top action, violence and set-pieces it was well known off. Instead, we see a very bearded Kratos taking presumably his son on a hunt, teaching some life lessons. You can still sense some anger within Kratos, but he’s now able to control it, and now spouting wisdom, like “Don’t be sorry, be better”. [...]
ReCore was first unveiled at last year’s Microsoft E3 press event, showing a teaser with the selling point that it has Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man, and Armature Studios, who are made of members from Retro Studios which did the Metroid Prime series.
This year, the Xbox-exclusive action-adventure game gets a gameplay trailer, showing off the robot companions protagonist Joule has, a bit of gunfights, and interestingly, platforming elements. Pair it off with a catchy theme and colour us interested.

Sony’s E3 press conference was filled to the brimmed with new game announcements, and the last game to be unveiled was a surprise. Insomniac Games, the guys behind Ratchet & Clank, the Xbox-One exclusive Sunset Overdrive, and a few Oculus Rift games, are working on a PS4-Exclusive Spider-Man game.
Interestingly, the game will have Marvel working in tandem with the folks in Insomniac, and it is not in any way ties to any upcoming movies or comics. This is an all new Spiderman, bringing a more matured Spider-Man, with all his moves and abilities already refined.
This seems to be really early in development, to the point there’s no title to the game as of [...]
Ubisoft Annecy is usually a supporting studio for most of Ubisoft’s other games, but at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, they are now making a game of their own.
Called Steep, it’s basically a snow extreme sports game that combines snowboarding, skiing, and gliding using wingsuits and parachutes. Think what the SSX series used to do- interconnecting routes in the montains, but now fully traversable as an “open world” set in the Alps.
Check out the trailers here:
Steep focuses a lot on its online aspects, like the 2012 [...]
