Here’s something cheeky from a developer.
Bethesda has confirmed their E3 Press Conference date to be on Sunday, 11 June 2017 with this very tongue-in-cheek tweet.
This is due to Microsoft moving their briefing date a day earlier, which means that there will be two conferences on the first day of the E3 Presentation block. Not much is known about what games will Bethesda announced there, so we’ll see if there’s any news along the way.
Fire up those hype machine.
Microsoft has hinted at the much anticipated “Project Scorpio” by posting a tweet of the machine’s internal component with the line “Mark your calendar. We’ve moved to Sunday” written below it, meaning that they may show off the new console during their E3 Briefing on 11th June, a slight changed of the norm since they usually show their briefing on the 2nd day of the yearly E3 conferences.
But not much is known about the new console but Microsoft has claimed that Project Scorpio can run games at ultra-high-def 4K resolution at 60 frames per second compared to both original Xbox One and the recently released [...]

Developer of the highly successful Forza Horizon series, Playground Games, plans to open a second studio in Leamington Spa, UK, according to an article by gamesindustry.biz.
The Studio says that the new office will house a second team working on a brand new game which has been confirmed to be an open-world game and not a racing game.
But this do not mean that they are shying away from the series that bought them success as Ralph Fulton, Creative Director and Founder, says that their business with Forza over the last seven years has been great for them and they are not running away from the series and instead want to keep developing their skill set and push new [...]
Last December Microsoft experimented with something it hadn’t done in for quite some time: antagonistic cross-platform multiplayer. For a solitary end of the week, there was a test between people playing against each other in Gears of War 4 on PC and Xbox One. Presently, that is moving from a beta to an official discharge. Gears of War 4’s Core and Competitive will remain stage autonomous, as it will guarantee Ranked encounters are as firmly coordinated and focused as it could be allowed.
“Late last year, we conducted a cross-play Test Weekend to bring our Windows 10 and Xbox One fans together in public Versus Multiplayer, combining fan feedback and extensive [...]
Scalebound looks promising. Last shown in E3 last year, we saw dragons and some cool action combat, a signature of PlatinumGames. We even saw glimpses of online co-op. Last we heard about it was that it has been delayed into 2017.
And suddenly we got news it was cancelled.
Windows Central reported this statement given by Microsoft on this news:
After careful deliberation, Microsoft Studios has come to the decision to end production for “Scalebound.” We’re working hard to deliver an amazing lineup of games to our fans this year, including “Halo Wars 2,” “Crackdown 3,” “State of Decay 2,” “Sea of [...]
