Forza Motorsport 7 has announced another list of cars this week. This new batch centers around classic cars from the 60’s all the way to the early 30’s.
It’s an interesting selection- the 1934 Alfa Romeo P3 is the car that strongly defined how a pre-war race car looked like in today’s media. The very first Chevrolet Corvette (seen in the image above) makes an appearance here alongside many other muscle cars. Volkswagen is making a return to the Forza series with three classic cars including the iconic 1963 Beetle. There’s also a few from Japanese makes such as the 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432 included and even one ute car- the 1951 Holden 50-2106 FX [...]
When it comes to sim racing games, the hardcore fans would love accurate physics and handling of the cars. But if you can put in as much pretty cars as you can, why not?
Forza Motorsport 7 will have a huge stable of cars to choose from- over 700 cars in fact. Today, developers Turn 10 revealed the first 166 cars in the list.
If you’re a fan of the big three marquees- Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche, then you should be delighted to know that they have that aplenty. Of the 166 cars, there are 18 Lamborghinis, 29 Porsches and 46 Ferraris. The current holy trinity of supercars: The Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porcshe 918 Spyder (seen above) are also [...]
Hail to the king, baby. The original Xbox has a really unique controller, mostly because it’s massive. Nicknamed the “Duke” controller, it was way bigger than most gamers used to at the time, to the point that Microsoft released a smaller version of the controller.
But with the Xbox One going to support backwards compatibility for the original Xbox, manufacturers Hyperkin is teaming up with Microsoft to recreate the Duke controller to work on the Xbox One and Windows 10 devices.
It’s a faithful recreation. It’s still massive, there are the small white and black buttons nearby [...]
Gifting games have been the norm for PC digital games, but you can’t do it on consoles yet. Whether it’s Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft, none of their main consoles support gifting games to your friends.
However, maybe that will change soon. As reported by Engadget, a tweet from the VP of Xbox and Windows Gaming Mike Ybarra might hint at it coming soon.

So far the only hints we have is this, but Microsoft has been willing to offer consumer-friendly features like backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 (and recently the original Xbox) on Xbox One and cross-platform play. [...]
When first unveiled at Microsoft’s E3 presentation this year, Forza Motorsport 7’s main touted feature is how incredible it looks in 4K which can be experienced on the Xbox One X or a powerful enough PC. Now we have learned another interesting fact about experiencing the game in 4K: it’s one big of a download.
Forza Motorsport 7 will be a 100GB worth of download, making it one of the biggest file size for a game at the moment. To give some context, that will use up 10% of a normal hard drive for the One X (and 20% for the Xbox One S with a 500GB drive). Games of last generation usually floats around 16GB of size to fit a single HD-DVD disc the Xbox 360 used- [...]
The Windows Store is still in bad shape for anyone to consider using that platform as their go-to place to buy games, even if it is the only way to get Xbox-exclusive games. The Xbox team has always admitted that it’s still a long way to go, but are very open to the idea of releasing their exclusives outside of the Windows Store. We have seen that with Remedy’s Quantum Break being available on Steam right now.
And now another game joins the foray. Killer Instinct, the 2013 reboot spearheaded by Double Helix Games and then taken over by Iron Galaxy, will make its way on to Steam. The announcement was made at the end of the CEO fighting game tournament, right after [...]
