Nioh was first announced as a PS3 exclusive game in, but after years and years of it being in limbo, Nioh will finally be a game ready to be released. As the Alpha Test and the recent Beta Test shows, developers Team Ninja are finally getting the game together into a potentially interesting take of the Dark Souls formula.
As announced during Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference, Koei Tecmo will release the game on February 9 2017 as a PS4 exclusive title. So, about that Nioh Alpha Demo. Did you gave it a go? Did you send some feedback over developers Team Ninja? Apparently they are hard work in fine-tuning the Dark Souls-inspired action RPG that was announced way back in 2004.
The upcoming Beta Demo will arrive on August 23, and will be available for a limited time. September 6 is the cut off date for that.
Players will be able to explore and all new stage as Geralt of Rivia William Adams, and a new dojo stage that acts as a practice lab to learn the combat systems.

Feudal Japan themed hack-and-slasher Nioh will finally see a light of day when it will be released sometime in 2016. Initially started production in 2004 and was supposedly a PS3-exclusive game, Ni-Oh had been long in development by developers Team Ninja, famous for the Ninja Gaiden and Dead Or Alive series. The game is now retitled slightly (the hyphens are gone) and now a PS4-exclusive.
