Far Cry 5 has already been announced earlier, but all we got was a title and a logo. Ubisoft continues to tease us with a few more bits of information of the its latest open-world FPS romp.
There is now four short clips teasing the new location: Hope County, Montana, USA.
From the looks of the teaser, all shot in live-action, more murders will be happening in the countryside. The open landscape that it entails should fit with the now familiar Far Cry formula. It also looks so far to be in the modern time, as opposed to the rumored Wild West setting.
The first reveal will be on May 26. With E3 looming by, expect to see even more info about Far Cry 5 by then as [...]
Whoa there cowboy. Red Dead Redemption 2, the sequel to the successful open-world adventure set near the end times of the Wild West (and the third Red Dead game), is getting a delay. Rockstar first unveiled the title and was set to release sometime in fall (around October) this year, but a recent announcement has pushed the release to spring 2018 (April-June).
No specific reason was stated for the delay.”Some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.” This will be the first game Rockstar is making with the new generation of hardware, the PS4 and Xbox One, in mind. Their last game, Grand Theft Auto V, was first [...]
As promised last month, Rockstar is continuing adding new content to GTA Online. The multiplayer component to GTA V has taken a life on its own and will continue to receive incremental updates. The new update will bring one more new car into the mix: The Hijak Ruston (shown in the header above).
As quoted from the Rockstar Newswire:
“Stripped down and drenched in carbon fiber, the Hijak Ruston is a lightweight & pint-sized packet of fury. It might not win any safety awards, but the Ruston’s low profile gets you as close to the tarmac as you’re ever going to want to be, so nestle in and brace yourself for some tight turns and even tighter [...]
As promised, the first glimpse of the newly announced Middle Earth: Shadow Of War has been revealed. While the sequel’s title to the 2014 hit may not be as catchy, it certainly builds upon the main feature that has yet to be seen in other open world games of its ilk: the Nemesis System. The idea that the orc hierarchy you need to kill or subdue to reach Sauron in the last game is made even more impressive as the orcs are all dynamically affected based on player’s actions. We certainly loved the system in our review.
In Shadow Of War, the system is cranked even further. As Talion and Celebrimbor, you now have to raise an army to take on the war against Sauron. Now [...]
Prepare for blast off! If you love the crazy Trackmania-esque stunt tracks that was introduced back last year, GTA Online will be adding more Stunt Races coming this month.
The new races will utilise Special Vehicles, particularly the ridiculously rocket-powered electric car Rocket Voltic, the car that may or may not be based on a particular TV show Ruiner 2000, and the amphibious Blazer Aqua. Expect to see the races use the unique characteristics of these vehicles, and track creators will have access to these vehicles to craft your own tracks and share it to the community.
More adversary mode will be added as well. One interesting mode will be called Top Down and will [...]
Dead Rising 4, the latest title from the series will get a Steam release on March 14- March 15 here in Malaysia. If you’re itching to whack mobs of zombies with ridiculous weapons but don’t have an Xbox One (and don’t want to buy the Windows Store version for Windows 10), this is your chance.
Dead Rising 4 takes the game back to the town of Willamette, where photojournalist Frank West broke out the scoop of his life on the story of the zombie infested mall back in the first Dead Rising. Now the whole town is having another zombie outbreak.
Expect more silly stuff and less tedious design choices from the earlier games this time around. Though arguably [...]
