Delay after delay after delay, Persona 5 finally arrives in English. The long awaited sequel to the Persona series, originally a spin-off from Atlus’s Shin Megami Tensei series, is finally here. Persona has been around for more than 20 years and the latest addition, Persona 5, carries over the lineage that made them a mainstream success starting with Persona 3 and 4 while bringing back the darker tones and some gameplay elements that was seen in the first Persona and the Persona 2 duology.
That 20 years of lineage certainly pays off in a big way.
There’s just so much love and care being given to Persona 5 that even if the core gameplay (and story) feels like [...]
Persona 5 was launched with some free DLC, and if you’ve been playing the English version and was wondering where the promised free Japanese voices DLC, here’s good news. It’s now out in the Playstation Store alongside a few other free DLCs.
The free DLCs are the Healing item set which provides in-game items (one of them is a Soma, a very powerful and rare recovery item), the Skill Card set that provides extra skills that you can put in your Personas and the Merciless difficulty, for those who want an even more challenging experience.
While the long-anticipated JRPG by Atlus and P Team is finally out worldwide, it also has some really strict [...]
Persona 5 has been so long in the works and now it’s finally here. While being one of the most exciting JRPGs that has caught the mainstream attention, it also one of the most restrictive when it comes to sharing the experience. The PS4 Share functions are disabled for most of the game, and now we have more detailed restrictions for those that can bypass that by having a capture card. The rules also applies to those making videos regarding the game as well.
Atlus USA has made clear what the limitations are. First off, of course, is not going to deep into spoilers
“Please, PLEASE do not post any specific plot points or story spoilers, and only talk about the [...]
It’s ironic how the setup for the new entry of Mass Effect reflects so much on how its development went. A cast of familiar but entirely different people, thinking of a bright new beginning only to find out their leadership is gone and they have now grossly underestimate the undertaking of the journey they are getting into.
In Mass Effect: Andromeda, the entire cast revolves around the Andromeda Initiative- a group of thousands of Milky Way species that are making their way to find a new home in the Andromeda galaxy. Some of the people here are looking for a better life- some, like the Ryder family, their scarred reputation means going to a new galaxy is the only way to [...]
Mass Effect: Andromeda is getting a lot of attention now, for all the wrong reasons. There are tons of issues, from the various technical problems to animations and even its general writing is not well received. Developers Bioware finally have something to say about this.
In a image tweet, the developers are “working around the clock to gather information and plan out solutions to improve and build on Mass Effect: Andromeda”. They will have something more concrete to share on April 4.

Well, this explains a lot. Persona 5 was released in Japan last year to critical acclaim, though its English localisation needed more time before it was ready. Despite the long gap between the Japanese release and its impending English release next week, there are not many screenshots being shared around, making avoiding spoilers a pretty easy effort.
Now we know why. All versions of the JRPG are prohibiting the use of the PS4’s built-in screenshot and video capture. Speaking to Polygon, Atlus explained why.
“This being a Japanese title with solely a single-playthrough story means Japan is very wary about it. Sharing is currently blocked through the native PS4 [...]
