In an interview with PC Invasion, Sega Europe’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing, John Clark, has confirmed that over 170,000 copies of the recently released PC port of Bayonetta has been sold.
It may not seem as huge, but this is a port of an eight year old game that was released last month. Clark mentioned that Sega is happy with the current sales numbers, and expect to see more PC ports coming down the horizon. No word on what will be the next game to receive a PC release.
Check out the full interview where Clark shared some tidbits on how the effort goes on making a PC port possible.

Sonic Forces is Sonic Team’s latest attempt to get the blue blur on track again. This time, Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic is teaming up with another new character to save the world in ruin, and that character is free for you to create.
The Sonic fandom has created various Sonic OC (original characters), basically fan-created characters that would fit in the Sonic world. (Also note: there is one “fan game” that has explored a custom Sonic character creation)
Having the third character be a custom, player-created one should surely satisfy some fans, and from the trailer, it looks like you have plenty of options for customisation.
The third [...]
The tease is over, it’s here. The last game from Sega’s backlog made by Platinumgames that has yet to have a PC port, Vanquish, will finally receive one. Originally released in 2010, Vanquish differs from the studio’s output from being a third person shooter with cover-based elements, but cranked up with some dash of character action the devs are known for.
After the recent Bayonetta PC port release, there were hints at Vanquish will be the next to get one. And it’s all true. The PC version will finally have the game running with unlocked framerate. Now you can knee slide your way and shoot your way in glorious 60fps, as any games from Platinum [...]
Platinum Games have recently started doing PC ports for their older releases, starting of with the excellent Bayonetta. Considering the character action game suffered perfomance-wise on consoles (particularly the PS3 version) having the game finally on PC certainly helps fans relieve the game in the best way possible, especially when the PC port runs absolutely well.
Now, there’s another game Platinum made with publishers Sega that has yet to see a PC release, the 3rd-person shooter Vanquish. Designed by Shinji Mikami- famous for his lead role in shaping up Resident Evil 4’s mix of action horror, Vanquish is a cover shooter mixed up with over-the-top movements and [...]

Who would be a good fit, aside from Street Fighter’s Akuma who is already in the roster, for Tekken? Series producer Katsuhiro Harada has asked around over on Twitter for some suggestions.
In an interview with Gamespot, Harada has mentioned that based on his recent tweet, there is a strong demand to see Yakuza’s Kazuma Kiryu be included in the roster. You can check out the replies for yourselves here and see the many instances of Kiryu being mentioned.
This is by no [...]
Do you want more Yakuza this year? If the prequel game Yakuza 0, released in English last January, was not enough then here’s another one. Yakuza Kiwami, the HD remake of the first Yakuza game that started it all, will see an English release on August 29.
Kiwami chronicles the story of Kazuma Kiryu, a normal yakuza member who got himself entangled in various conspiracies- in this case, a murder- within the underground world. And he overcomes most of it with some good ol’ fashion brawling. The game tip-toes between super serious crime drama and super goofy comedy antics while providing hours and hours of playtime with its RPG-like structure. Plus, the [...]
