Titanfall 2 is among the many EA games that are not doing Season Passes anymore. Instead they are promising free content updates for the adrenaline-rush FPS with mechs. As they did a few months back with the Angel City’s Most Wanted DLC (which coincides its free weekend offer), Titanfall 2 is getting another new mode.
The new mode focuses on just the Pilots, which is mobile enough to pull off wall ride, slides and parkour- all while shooting guns. The mode is called Live Fire and will include two new maps built specific for this mode.

Another weekend, another big game doing a free weekend. It’s a good trend, considering demos have become rarer these days. Starting December 2, prepare for titanfall as Titanfall 2 can be played by anyone with a PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The “Free Multiplayer Trial”, as it is called, will only limit you to the multiplayer portion of the game, but all content is accessible including the new addition from their first free DLC offering set to release on December 3.

Titanfall was the premier FPS for the Xbox One that had sold the idea of a next-generation console. Aim-down-sights based shooter with ridiculous mobility, big mechs called Titans that can be summoned and piloted, NPC grunts to shoot about to make the battlefield more dense and easy pickings.
But Respawn Entertainment’s first game fizzled out immediately. The Xbox One did not sell as well as Sony’s PS4. Using the old method of DLC by charging for new maps and game modes split an already small community. Just in a few minutes before the EA Play press event starts, EA just ousted this new trailer for Titanfall 2, the sci-fi FPS with mechs. Now we are seeing a generous amount of gameplay footage. This time with a confirmed single-player.
