It’s the talk about town: the first AAA game of the year to be released in such a shoddy manner: and it’s not Ubisoft this time. Mass Effect: Andromeda has tons of rough edges, and the most prevailing one is of course, the animations.
If you still need convincing, here’s a long compilation montage of all the hilarious and awful human and facial animations (as well as other bugs and glitches):
However, the blow-up on this issue has resulted some unethical actions- including a witch hunt on one particular former animator at EA. While the complaints and critiques are valid points, targeting individuals should not be the way to resolve this. Bioware [...]
For Honor was a breath of fresh air when it comes to AAA games- hard and heavy medieval combat is not a game you see everyday. Though on PC, there are a few games that filled this niche. That includes Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. It’s a popular multiplayer first-person melee fighter (with some choice of range weapons) that also involves brutal dismemberment.
For a limited time, you can grab Chivalry and add it to your Steam library permanently. Consider this a free game alert. Download it here.
This free offer is to coincide with developers Torn Banner Studios announcing a release date for their new game titled Mirage: Arcane Warfare. In case you don’t know, [...]
It’s hard for rumours to not come true in this day and age- but here it is. Developers Bungie has officially reveal the sequel to its highly successful looter-shooter/MMO, Destiny. The rumour mill started around last week of the sequel that could arrive this year.
Simply titled Destiny 2, it was announced with a simple tweet, an image of its first official art seen above.

No other details were shared alongside the announcement. Thankfully the one unfortunate thing for the sequel- a reset of all stats for all characters in Destiny– has [...]
Rejoice PSVR owners, as Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has confirmed the release date for the highly anticipated VR game, Summer Lesson. The game sees you taking on the role of a teacher/mentor to Japanese student Hikari Miyamoto, where you’ll spend time with Hikari: interacting with her in her room and the world around you.
Originally stated for Japanese release only, Namco Entertainment Asia will release the game with English Subtitle physically on 27 April for the Southeast Asia market but savvy buyers could import it via specialize sellers, as the PS4 doesn’t have region locking.
As well as the date announcement, the Grand Fireworks scenario and costume [...]
NieR:Automata created by Platinum Games and Square Enix is a great game with a lot of versatility in combo hack and slash which is the dream of any other hack and slash game (Those who want to know more about NieR, we got your back, read here ). However, the Pc-port version of NieR:Automata had been reported fps drop issues from mid 20-30 FPS plus, Pc enthusiast with “Bangsawan” build probably offended by the game that limiting the full potential of their gaming Pc.
Thus, resulting the fan stepping up by giving us a downloadable patch. <download patch >
What the patch does is providing us 1080p resolution instead of a stretch version of 900p [...]
Some say that he never takes off the helmet whenever he is on camera. Some say he never been seen screaming in his Resident Evil 7 streams. For all we know, he is our featured gamer of the week: Alex, the madman20.
A casual gamer at heart, Alex has been gaming ever since the 80’s and continues on doing so with his regular streams on Twitch as well as on YouTube. While he is totally into racing games (and racing in general), Alex is game for any sort of experience and as of late found a new interest in co-op games.
Why he chose the name madman20? “It’s a combination of my email number and random word I chose when I was creating a login ID for a local tech [...]
“Probius, the Curious Probe, is a ranged specialist hero from the StarCraft universe. Since his activation, Probius has always wanted to prove himself. He may be small, but he made a big difference by warping in a critical pylon during the retaking of Aiur. As the bravest of probes, Probius is eager to fulfill his purpose in the Nexus.”Introduction
Not enough Specialist in the Nexus, you say? Well then, Blizzard has the perfect answer for that. Meet Probius, that little ‘Beep, Boop – You’re dead” probe from Starcraft. Though it doesn’t do that in Heroes.Character Traits and Abilities Trait: Warp In Pylon (D)

As many have known, Mass Effect: Andromeda is receiving mixed reception, and mostly negative ones if you frequent social media. All those horrid animations and uncanny facial features are unfortunately true.
For a AAA game in 2017 those janky animations don’t fly anymore, especially from a studio that has the resources to not let this happen. It’s unfortunate, because all the conversation around Bioware’s highly anticipated sequel to the RPG/third-person shooter series has now revolve around that.
But the graphics are not entirely garbage. Andromeda runs on the Frostbite engine, EA’s proprietary tech that powers all their games. Battlefield 1 and [...]
Gaming equipment has always been a premium, but now we see a trend of having good enough specs for a lower price point than ever before. Today Acer Malaysia just launched four new products that should make you consider having one without ripping apart your wallet too much.
First up is the Acer Aspire VX15. As seen before at CES early this year, this 15.6″ monster shares a lot of similarities with the Predator series in terms of design but with lower (yet still decent enough) specs for gaming. A 7th gen Intel i7-7700HQ, GTX 1050 Ti graphics card with 4GB VRAM, and a 4GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB (5400rpm) of HDD. Not too bad considering the price point here is [...]
As promised last month, Rockstar is continuing adding new content to GTA Online. The multiplayer component to GTA V has taken a life on its own and will continue to receive incremental updates. The new update will bring one more new car into the mix: The Hijak Ruston (shown in the header above).
As quoted from the Rockstar Newswire:
“Stripped down and drenched in carbon fiber, the Hijak Ruston is a lightweight & pint-sized packet of fury. It might not win any safety awards, but the Ruston’s low profile gets you as close to the tarmac as you’re ever going to want to be, so nestle in and brace yourself for some tight turns and even tighter [...]
Mass Effect: Andromeda is out now. It may have some mixed reviews (our own take should be coming soon) but it’s definitely in line with the series’ original trilogy when it comes to its shortcomings. If you have the time, why not sit down and watch Youtuber Raycevick dissects all the three installments featuring Commander Shepard?
The three videos go in length to document the behind-the-scenes aspect of the development as well as general critique, which gives even more context why some questionable design aspectsfor the game had to be done. What kicked off the new IP? How did developers Bioware respond to feedback of the first game to make the Mass Effect 2? Why [...]
Rev up those management skills as Motorsport Manager, Sega and Playsport Interactive’s Racing management game, is current Free-to-Play for the whole week with the base game on sale with a 50% discount.
It’s currently priced at a discounted RM32.50 instead of the usual RM65.00 but the game’s newest DLC, GT Series (which we have covered before) is not on sale, although buying it with the current price is much cheaper than buying both at full price.
The game is similar to the likes of the Football Manager series which is also published by Sega, so FM enthusiast or curious gamers could try out this title before buying it. But, take it from the [...]
